That's not a problem! Your comfort and the safety of your dog are the highest priorities during our portrait sessions. Believe it or not, a lot of the dogs in my portfolio were safely on lead in the original image. I will simply work my magic during the retouching process, and you would never know.
We will discuss everything during the pre-session consultation, and we will figure out the best possible locations and options so that your dog feels as relaxed and comfortable as possible. It could mean a quieter location at quieter hours of the day, or it might mean we opt for a calm and quiet studio session. Your dog's safety and well-being are always my top priority.
I have worked with reactive dogs, and we will figure out the best possible option for your dog. We will discuss all of these details during the pre-session consultation, where you will tell me more about your dog, their character, personality, and struggles, and we will find the best option so that you and your dog feel safe and comfortable.
If your dog is dog-reactive, it might mean we choose a quieter location or quieter hours of the day without other dogs around, or it might mean we opt for a studio session.
If your dog is people-reactive, I can keep a comfortable distance while your dog stays on lead, and you can simply enjoy your time together while I guide you and capture beautiful photos from afar. That's not a problem! I have worked with untrained dogs, as well as hyperactive and crazy puppies, and I can promise you we can still work together and make beautiful memories and artwork that perfectly capture their personalities.
I mostly photograph dogs, but I also love working with cats, horses, people with their pets, and just about any other companion you might have. I’m happy to adapt to any kind of furry or non-furry friend!
Don't worry! I always keep an eye on the forecast and plan our session for when the weather is expected to be perfect for our shoot. I’ll also double-check the weather forecast the day before our shoot, and if it turns out to be bad, we can always reschedule.
Yes, you can. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made in writing, either by email or message, at least 48 hours before the session. In that case, we can reschedule within one month of the original date, or, if you do not wish to reschedule or cannot reschedule within one month, your deposit will be refunded in full.
If the session is canceled less than 48 hours before the scheduled start, the deposit is non-refundable.Typically, the photo session lasts about 1–2 hours. Your dog will have plenty of time to walk around, explore, and sniff so they can feel completely comfortable and relaxed. We will adapt the time and flow of the session based on your dog. This is their day, and it’s meant to be a fun experience for both them and you. There’s never any pressure.
We will discuss and decide on the session location during our pre-session consultation. The photo sessions can be outdoors, at the location we select, or they can be in a studio, either a rented studio for the day or even in your home if there’s enough space. We will select the location that fits you and your dog best.
After you have selected your images and how you want them displayed (products and/or wall art), I will place the order with my professional photo labs. Your finished pieces will be ready and delivered to you within about two to three weeks.
Absolutely! These sessions aren’t just about your pet, they’re also about the special bond and love you share. You and your family are always welcome to join in the photos and be part of those beautiful memories.
Simply bring lots of treats and/or your dog's favorite toy.
I will have some treats and toys on hand too, but bringing your own is always best.
If you’d like to be in the photos as well, we can discuss clothing options and styles during the pre-session consultation.Yes, absolutely! You’re welcome to bring more than one pet, as long as they’re from the same household and comfortable being together. If they don’t get along well, it’s usually best to schedule separate sessions for each. We can discuss all of this during the pre-session consultation and decide what works best for you and your pets.
You’ll find session fees listed on the Portrait Sessions page, along with starting prices for artwork and products. For a full product guide with detailed pricing and collections, you’re welcome to reach out here.
All pricing details are shared during our pre-session consultation, before you even decide to book, so there are never any surprises. Payment plans are also available.
